We are extremely excited to be collaborating with Selby Abbey, to help find a new lease of life for the community space ‘St Richard’s Centre’ on Barwic Parade in Selby. Up for Yorkshire have taken on the management of the building, to maximise its use, and help to provide more support, opportunities and direct service delivery in the Abbotts Road area.

With the recent expansion of the Community Health and Wellbeing Project in partnership with Selby PCN into the Abbott’s Road estate area, the timing of this partnership with Selby Abbey couldn’t be more ideal. St Richard’s Centre offers the perfect environment to provide direct support and services to local residents, further strengthening our presence and impact in the area, as well as meeting the objectives of the building set out by Selby Abbey.
