Supporting the local community in person and online since 1977
At Up For Yorkshire, we believe that everyone deserves the chance to thrive—not just in the workplace, but in everyday life. That’s why we’ve dedicated ourselves to supporting local communities and organisations through a diverse range of services and projects. Since 1977, our mission has been simple: to enable the voluntary and community sector to grow and flourish, while fostering an inclusive environment for everyone.

We provide a combination of support, from new projects and opportunities to filling gaps in existing services, all aimed at strengthening communities and ensuring people have the tools they need to thrive.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, whether through partnerships, research, development, or providing accessible and welcoming community spaces. We’re proud to have been awarded the LIQA (Local Infrastructure Quality Accreditation), which recognises our dedication to delivering high-quality services and making a meaningful impact within the local voluntary and community sector.
