That’s why we’re excited to support SWIFT, a brand-new project launched in April 2025, supporting migrant communities across North Yorkshire.
What is the SWIFT Project?
SWIFT is all about providing advice, support and opportunities for migrants living across North Yorkshire. Whether someone needs help navigating systems, accessing services or simply their place in a new community, SWIFT is here to offer free, confidential support through a dedicated helpline and outreach sessions across county.
But the project isn’t just about advice, it’s about building confidence, connection, and community. At the heart of SWIFT is a commitment to making sure people feel safe, valued, and hopeful about their future. By working closely with trusted partners and local communities, the project will create real opportunities.
This is just the beginning. Over the next three years, we’ll be sharing more about how SWIFT is helping people settle, thrive, and feel truly at home in North Yorkshire. From peer-led groups and community events to language support opportunities to get involved, we can’t wait to show what’s coming.
